How to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. Today's post is about another DIY craft. It's getting colder and colder in my city. And the snow starting to fall from the sky and make the ground white. I wish I can make great poets. That would be really great. As my brother used to make them in his free time every day.

Anyways, for real, it's getting cold, but something you weren't prepared for. Which is a new DIY project post haha. Yep... This is my intro for this post haha. If anyone is an old reader here. You would know that I like to do new intros. And end the post in different ways just to make it fun.

I think it is the actual time for a good coffee. And writing a blog post with snow in the background of your window. I can imagine that would be perfect. I might take a picture of this moment if it happens any time soon haha.

It would be really worth it because I've been living it for some time now. And when it becomes reality, that's something else. I have so many moments that I want to turn into reality. But sometimes it kinda hurt because it will take time to manage to do it lol.

FYI

This post is an old one. And there are some updates and things that I mentioned. However, I would like to point t that they are out of date. And I kept them part of thpastst as memories. If you want to know about updates or things. Please check my recent blog post or social media.

Anyways, I hope everyone having a great week so far. And have been taking care of themselves well in this cold weather. Since I traveled to Russia, celebrating with the family became a bit hard. But I've had an idea for Halloween. That also can be used as a desk decoration as well. So, I will show you how to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material.

That's why I've made it late, but not too late for this event lol. Which was posted recently. I will do more of these in the future. Because it will help me add decoration for this DIY idea haha. Since this is on my desk, it means everything I do is going to be for both.

Before I start talking about this post, something I want to mention. I'm doing a new schedule due to changing the place and time zone. Also, the things I got to do during my stay will force me to do it. Anyway. I'm trying to catch up with everything. But still, a bit behind. That's why it's going to be one post. For now, each week until I manage.

However, the day wasn't really important, because I started on this day. And this is how it will be haha. Though, I was aiming to keep it on Monday which is like it used to be before the trip. The first day of the week. It's okay, this will do good as well because... Still a busy day for everyone lol, you know what I mean? Every blogger posting on this day, too.

Anyway, shall we start the post? Let's see how to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material!

Today's post will be as I said kinda for Halloween. But also for more than one purpose. I did name every project which's made by me except this DIY project. I think this seems to be like a DIY batman logo. Though, I was planning to do only the bat logo.

For this, perhaps it can be called "A new bat with a stand decoration". I'm still trying to improve my way. And how I name my projects after I make them haha. But, for now, I will show you how to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material.

The base of this DIY craft

Ahh, look at my first try at the new background that I made. I think it wasn't perfect. And it's because this time it was me taking a picture without paying attention to what it will look like. But, you get the idea of how this could work for me. Because I can't make the items floating in the air, which would be worse lol. Oh, and by the way, anti-man will be in Gotham after this post. If you know what I mean lol.

Anyways, let's keep our focus on this DIY project. How to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. And for this DIY craft, as usual, I used paper and more box sheets to make the DIY craft thicker. Hopefully, when everything is going great. I will manage to do great things in the future.

I'm trying to make a stand for the logo to be on. And that's why in the picture above. You see a small square of the box sheet and one piece of paper which is a cover for this DIY project. The easy step would be the next one. Because it only glued the box and the paper together. We need to make sure everything is glued, especially the edges of this DIY idea.

The base is colored with colored pencils!

I can't use paper without my pencil colors haha. And I think I nailed the shot in the picture above with the stand and everything. A good thing in the process of how to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. But not too perfect. The kind of color is optional but picked the brown color. That's because I want to make it more like a wooden stand lol.

Also, you want to add a Halloween touch with the black edges to this DIY craft base. Something came to my attention when I was coloring it. Which's that sometimes people might not color every edge equally. Then will ruin the look of the DIY project.

The base with the paper stick

I just noticed that every picture I took has different positions, haha. And that's me trying every place, and how it may look lol. Well, that's just with me. It doesn't have to happen to everyone who wants to know... How to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. The light in the picture above is the best so far. It really looks different from the shadows and every little detail. We may not pay attention to.

I can't float the bat logo in the air, and it needs a stand as well. That's where my paper stand comes in handy for it. The calculation of the circled paper stick. It depends on how long you need it to be higher on the ground. And making that is super easy.

After calculating the height, just make sure to make the width a bit wider than what you need to be able to fold it. Everything is ready so far. But the last step will be creating the bat logo, please snap your finger and look down.

Here we go! The bat logo, and as I said, I wanted to make it just like a bat logo. But it turns out to be the batman logo lol. I mean it's so close except for the head. Which is I couldn't cut a perfect head as the bat. Also, here is a twist, this wasn't really that good. So, I had to re-make it but forgot to take a photo of it. That I had to work with how it looks now for this step.

As you can see the wings aren't cut perfectly, and I messed it up. Also, the coloring for the entire thing wasn't as dark as it should be, don't worry though. Because everything was fixed as close to perfect as I could. However, there is a step that I forgot to take a photo of. And that would be gluing the paper stick (aka the stand) to the main base.

The paper stick glued to the base

The picture above shows the new version of the logo for this DIY project that I did. And also the last one I forgot, gluing the paper stick. I couldn't think of the best position for my logo other than an angle of the base. So I took the right one. It's where I will put it on my base that I will take photos on. The easiest step is to glue it because small objects would be quick to glue lol.

I couldn't make the logo stand for the picture, and I just made it on the wing. But I think it's easy to figure that it will be what I'm going to do next. However, when I wanted to do that, something I didn't pay attention to got me into a problem. That was figuring out how the logo would be glued to the stick. Though, no problem could last forever with me lol. When learning how to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. You will get problems as well.

Piece of paper to hold the bat

I'm not sure what to call this piece of paper shown in the picture above. But this is how I will glue it to the stick. However, when attempting to glue it. You need to make sure that the short end is which will be glued to the back of the stick. And the top one of that, for the bat logo. This way nothing going to ruin anything.

We are down to the last step after this one, and I was really surprised at the results of this DIY craft. Because it was better than I imagined. It would be. Plus, my idea wasn't near this look. But it was what I could do at this time and situation. Please start the drums...

The finished DIY project

Boom! The final look of my bat logo for the desk decoration and my base. How to make an awesome DIY bat using simple material. I would like to present to you two pieces from my collection haha. Though I really want to imagine it as anti-man being in Gotham. It's only a logo and not the bat himself. That would be a better illustration.
