1. Reply to comments daily.

The first and most common way to be stressed is by replying to comments. A lot of people would struggle to reply to them. It's part of how to work as a blogger. Especially when you have a big blog and a lot of readers. So, one thing you should do is reply to them daily. I used to leave them for a day and then I feel overwhelmed at work.

This will give you fewer comments to reply to. But if you keep them for two days, you will have a lot of them. And it will seem a lot to you. I know this because it's something I went through in the past. It was a bit of a struggle. However, this is how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger.

Even if you get a lot of comments each day. Trust me, this will make it better for you. It will multiply, the more you keep them without replying. And it feels so heavy to do it when it gets to that point. Following this will help you how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger.

Make it a task to read them and reply to them every day. If you can't do it, I would recommend you do at least a few of them. Better than nothing and it will help you to get some of the comments out of the way. Avoid feeling depressed and overwhelmed at work from too many comments. That will help in the long term.

2. Schedule blogging work throughout the week.

If you do work on time all the time every day. This is something you need to stop doing. I don't recommend you do that anymore. There are a lot of things to do as a blogger. And you won't have room to fit everything. Therefore, a good way to avoid that is to schedule blogging work throughout the week. It's going to help you with how to work as a blogger.

Anything that you can schedule. You don't need to do it every day. Try to do it one time and rest or focus on other things. This is something I did late because I was the idiot who do things right away. Thinking it was how to work as a blogger. I didn't believe in scheduling and thought it was fun. But when things got worse, it was my time to change and start scheduling.

Well, at this time in the blogging industry. Some people still don't schedule. Nowadays, life can be much better and easier. So, this is the main reason for scheduling blogging work and anything related to your blogging work. It's a better way How to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger. That is one way how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger. Also, allow you to do other things such as going out with friends and doing more things.

3. Check broken links regularly.

Sometimes people get stressed from doing this. It's one of the common problems bloggers struggle with. And that is one way to be overwhelmed by being a blogger. Therefore, it's better to stop checking links after a while. This is an important task for how to work as a blogger.

Make sure to set a regular check every few days or week. Don't make it a long time because you will get more broken links. I would say every three days would be perfect. Especially if you have a big blog and get tons of them. It will be a pain to remove them and you need people to help when there are other things to do.

So, I highly recommend you check them every short period of days. This way, it will be fewer broken links and faster to remove. I hated when I first checked them and I had a lot of links to remove. And it took me a long time. Well, that happened a few times until I learned how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger.

When you actually do it after a short time, it will help you to keep the blog fresh. That is one way SEO optimization will need. Removing all the broken and dead links from your blog. It will help to rank better in search engines. When you are trying to improve how to work as a blogger. Also, if you have a lot of links, it could lead to feeling depressed and overwhelmed at work.

4. Avoid unnecessary work

Working from home and being the boss is a different thing. But both can be in one for a lot of bloggers. And that means you are in control of all things. Including the tasks that you do. If you are looking for how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger. This could make you depressed and overwhelmed at work. Make sure to avoid adding or working on unnecessary things.

When you feel overwhelmed, try to avoid things that are not so important. And if you got spare time, you can work on these left-behind tasks. But after you make sure that you are not stressed or overwhelmed. Try to improve task management.

This is something all bloggers would need. Improving task management and knowing what should be done. Because if you do something not worthy or don't help you. Then, it means you did it for nothing. So, it's not just how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger. Sometimes you need to determine the best for the blog or business.

It will be important no matter what you have. Whatever blog or content you share. You will need to improve how to do things. And what tasks should be done? If it will help to grow the blog more or do nothing for it. When I feel overwhelmed at work, I used to remove some tasks as well.

5. Work with routine and work hours

This is one of the things that anyone working from home would stress. Being at home and working is not that easy. Sometimes you will get a lot of blogging work. And other tasks need to be done. So, I highly recommend working with a routine and working on ours.

Avoid working randomly because it will make your life worse. There will be a lot of stress doing so many things randomly. Reading it as I write it, I can already feel my mind confused. Sometimes we could feel depressed and overwhelmed at work. It will feel like your thoughts are everywhere.

Benefits of working with a routine:

  • Helps to have a well-organized day
  • Allow you to do things without the stress
  • Make challenge tasks easier on you
  • Be able to maintain consistency

Well, it's something that I learned the hard way. Spent a lot of time working randomly, but finally, I got it and now things are better. You will feel more organized working and living your life. And how to get rid of overwhelming work as a blogger. A good step for how to work as a blogger.

Make it a routine and stick to it. And there will be more than one routine to keep the day organized. So, blogging, and work should be a routine. Things that you do every day. 6. Practice doing tasks every day

One thing that is important for any person working from home is practicing. Especially when you just started working as a blogger. You will need to improve your work and practice. The best way to do this is by doing tasks every day. So, don't stop working on the blog and do your tasks. Because the more you do them, the easier it will get for you.

This is something that I learned the hard way. And I had to spend a lot of time working on it. Improving how long time I work as well. You might be able to work for a couple of hours. But the more you work, the more it becomes longer. Well, let's say you don't want to feel depressed and overwhelmed at work.

Sometimes you might feel that you don't want to do anything. That should be normal and don't listen to it. Keep working and doing tasks. And you will find yourself doing them easily after a while. This is what happened to me as well. So, I highly recommend you do tasks every day for work and also practice.

It won't feel as overwhelming as before. Because it's like going to the gym. However, for this one, you will need your mind and body. Mentally and physically are required for working from home. And that's for any business or content creator.

7. Avoid multitasking as much as possible

Another thing that could overwhelm you when working. And it's multitasking a lot during work thinking you can finish things faster. However, it might help you finish a couple of them fast. But that will come with negative results. Especially, when you are just starting blogging or working on the business.

So, I highly recommend avoiding multitasking thing. If you didn't notice, I say avoid it as much as possible. And that is because sometimes it forces us to do it. You have no option but to multitask. Which is something that happened to me as well.

Something I used to do the moment I feel overwhelmed at work. Avoid doing more than one task for a while. You might have to multitask, but make sure to maintain your energy and focus. Be sure to stop when you feel exhausted. This way, you not going to stop working on your tasks. Just on focus one task at a time.

You will need to maintain and develop good task management skills. Because working from home, it's all of you. And if you don't know how to do that. It will be your downfall. When you get bigger and have more traffic. Things will start to change and new tasks will be your responsibility. This means you need to develop it before you grow a lot.

8. Take a break to regain energy

Just like any person would love to take a break. Go for a vacation to enjoy some time away from the blogging work. Don't just make it all about work. Even if you are a blogger, you still deserve time to enjoy yourself. If you are working with other bloggers or companies. They will give free time to enjoy a good vacation.

This will help you to feel fresh and energized. Something will help you to feel overwhelmed. Working and working and working can be the reason to feel stressed and overwhelmed at work. It doesn't have to be a lot of work at the same time. So, don't go hard on yourself and enjoy a good break. I'm not talking about a lunch break, but 1 or 2 weeks of a good break.

Travel to your favorite place or do anything you love. Go out with friends and just have fun for a bit. We are humans and we need to enjoy some time off of work. Any blogger would need a good break and vacation.
