Hello everyone and welcome to another post for this week. It’s been a while since I last posted about blogging. Since I had other content on my blog. I stopped posting about blogging. However, today I’m back with another blogging post. Here are 6 things every blogger should focus on for long-term success.
This is for beginners, but if you are not doing these things. I highly recommend doing it. Because it will help you in the long run. Because they will help you a lot in your journey not to get views, but also to learn and improve.

6 things every blogger should focus on for long-term success
Let’s talk a bit about this post before we go into the things every blogger should focus on. As a blogger, we have a few things to focus on. For example, creating content, and editing old posts. But these are only a few of the things that any blogger needs to focus on.
It doesn’t matter what type of content you share on the internet. These things will help you be successful. And when I mention success. You may wonder what does that means? Well, let me tell you. A successful blogger can have different things. For instance, a successful blogger can have better knowledge. And a strong personality and many things.
Also, if your blog helps other people. That means you are a successful blogger. Getting a lot of traffic. That means you are a successful blogger. I could go on about what it means to be a successful blogger. So many things every blogger should focus on. And today’s post I decided to share some of these things.
When I mention long-term success. This means these things will take their time. And you would be successful later in the future. After a while of working on it. You will start to get great results and more traffic.
You can start slow and make your way to be more successful in each of the things I will mention. And this should be a good reason for you to start doing it today. Because If that’s not enough for you. I’m not sure what would be. Do it how you like and as much as you can.
Extra tip
Don’t forget to develop patience because you will need it to do these things every blogger should focus on. Some bloggers would avoid it just because it seems a heavy task to do. However, it’s important to start the way you like or need at first.
The more you will do it. The easier it will get for you. So, don’t worry if it’s not easy when you start. Even though you have complete control of how you do these things. But, sometimes it might seem difficult and that’s ok because it won’t be for a long time. Blogging gets easier the more we do it.
It says focus because you will plan it the way you want it. As long as you are focusing on it. And do it the way you want. It will be very helpful in the future. So, you have no reason not to do it.
1. Develop a good way of doing the blogging work
Believe it or not, first when you start blogging. It can be a mess. You don’t know how to do things properly. Maybe you know, but there is a better way to do things. And spending time on developing a better way to do any blogging work.
When you hear blogging work, there are tons of things that bloggers do. Such as getting new blog post ideas. Scheduling, promoting, and so many things. So, it’s great if you work your way to improve your way of working as a blogger.
It’s called long-term because as you keep improving. The results will be so much worth it after a while. I don’t recommend you keep working the same way as always. Because you never know which way will be better for you. If other ways can help you improve.
I highly recommend that you focus on improving the way you do things. Any blogging work that can be improved. That’s where you should focus on. Remember, no need to focus a lot on it. Since it will take time. Any effort on it will be helpful toward the results.
For me, I would say this is very important because it will help you to live an easier life as a blogger in the future. Even if you are just doing blogging as a side hustle or as a hobby. Just in case you end up being a blogger full-time. Things will be good for you.
2. Friendship with other bloggers
Friendship does not happen overnight. And if it does, it won’t be as good as when you focus on it. Develop good relationships with other bloggers. Since it takes time to develop a good friendship with others. You should focus on it from the beginning.
Some people think only about creating content. But that’s not the only thing bloggers should focus on. Having bloggers friends can benefit you in so many ways. Even ways you didn’t know that is possible. Therefore, we must focus on it.
As I said, it doesn’t happen overnight. Making friends with other people can take time. Especially, to know each other well and understand how to treat each other. Things you like and don’t like. A lot of things to learn about each other.
I’m talking about a strong friendship and for a long last friendship. It’s not just for one day or one collaboration. This way, you can learn from each other and help each other when things get rough on one of you guys. Things every blogger should focus on will be helpful. Don’t forget to pay attention to other things that can help you with your journey being a blogger.
Well, when you have a friendship with someone. It’s not over yet because you still need to develop it and make sure that you maintain it. Once you start a friendship with someone. That’s just the beginning of a long road of maintaining and developing it. Trust me, it will be so much worth it to have a blogging friend. And it’s one of the things every blogger should focus on.
3. Email list
One of the best things that every blogger should focus on is the email list. Now, I know a lot of bloggers don’t have time for it. However, you don’t need to spend a lot of time on it. Just set it up and spend less effort on it and it will be for the long success. But, if you don’t focus or pay attention to the email list. You will miss a big source of traffic in the future.
It’s not difficult and doesn’t require much effort. It’s one of the things every blogger should focus on and don’t need to struggle with it. At least, at the beginning of your blogging journey. You should be good if you spend less time working on your email list. You can follow these tips to grow your email list.
Work your way slow or fast. It depends on you and how much effort you spend on it. But doing nothing is not good. So, I highly recommend that the email list should be on your daily or weekly schedule. This way you put some work into it and you can see results after a while.
Promote it when you can because an email list is very important in the long run. And once you started getting new subscribers. Try to put together a plan to help you keep posting and allowing your email list to get new things every week. This is one of the important things every blogger should focus on.
And later in the future, you will be able to get something from it. Therefore, it’s worth spending some effort at least at the beginning when you first build your email list. Don’t wait for later or forget about it because it will take time.
FYI
An email list is a common way people market their content and stuff. You might not see results when you start. However, it can drive you through tons of traffic once you have a good audience following you through an email list.
4. Growing on Pinterest
Here is a perfect reason for you to focus on Pinterest. Because I know some bloggers might know about Pinterest but decide to avoid it. But, it will be worth it if you focus on it and work as much as you can. Pinterest is another search engine that can help to get TONS of traffic to your blog or business.
You must focus on Pinterest and add it to your blogging work. Either you are blogging on the side or full-time. Just get things going and be consistent. Later, you can see the results and maybe focus on growing your account more.

I highly recommend that you focus on it and do as much work as possible. Don’t force yourself to work more on it. And don’t avoid it because you will miss tons of traffic. It’s one of the best search engines in the world. For that, it’s one of the things every blogger should focus on.
For me, I regretted that I didn’t focus on it before. Because I would’ve been more successful than this if I did focus on it before. It’s a slow process, but it will be worth it in the end. So, not focusing on would be a mistake. Here are some tips to help you with creating pins for Pinterest.
Nowadays, Pinterest is a bit complicated. But You will be able to understand how it works. And take advantage of it. Plus, you won’t focus on it a lot at the beginning. So, why not spend some time learning and grow slowly on it? It’s also one of the important things every blogger should focus on.
5. Well organized blog post
Very important for all bloggers. Focusing on organizing the blog post is so so important. Trust me, you will be so happy in the future with having well-organized posts. A lot of bloggers start writing whatever and later end up editing old content.
When I said well organized, I don’t mean just how to organize it. But also optimize it. Make sure that everything is great with your blog posts. And in the future, when you have so many blog posts. It will be easy for you to edit. Also, you won’t have so much work to do.
You can optimize it to have a better SEO. And also make it easy for others to read and navigate through your blog post. Well, if you look back on my old blog posts. I didn’t have the best start. For that, I’m struggling to edit and produce new content.

So, it’s important to focus on it from the beginning. This way, things will be easy for you in the future. Also, having well and optimized posts can help you drive more traffic from SEO and recommendations. People would love your posts and recommend them to others. It’s one of the things every blogger should focus on.
As you learn more about organizing the blog post. Try to change the way you write them. And make them well organized. Don’t wait or avoid it. That will not be good for in the future. So, if you don’t want to struggle. Make sure to focus on it from the beginning or start today.

It can be a boring task to organize the post in the future. So, if you have the chance to do it when you start. You will need to focus on it more. Because later will make blogging so much easier for you and not just successful blogging.
Take some time to learn about what else you can do to make it a well-organized blog post. And you can find a lot of bloggers sharing how to do that. SEO optimization is a key to getting tons of traffic. It will take time to get that. So, starting when you start, will help you to save time.
I would imagine how easy for new bloggers who do this. But when you just started and you will need to focus on these steps. If you are not doing it, it’s going to be challenging for you and make blogging a bit struggle for you.

Pinterest might be useful for certain types of bloggers, life fashion or lifestyle, but for niche stuff like mental health and disabilities, their algorithms have made it a waste it time to use

I also would add that bloggers should focus on the more.. what else can they do to enhance their brand or the overall message they are trying to express? can they use a podcast or vlog to help spread the message? or write an ebook to write more thoroughly?

Great post! This is great information for beginners and seasoned bloggers. In June, it will be three years of blogging, and I still love doing it and continue to learn. I was lucky that I took a course that taught me well how to become a successful blogger. I focused on Pinterest from the start, and the Idea Pins have really helped me to grow. You have to take the time and be consistent. I acquired many friends from the first thread I was on, that I stay in touch with.
