Welcome to another blog post for this week. Today I will be talking about blogging tips. But for one of the things that we should do being bloggers. And that is marketing. Very important to every blogger but some of us, don’t have good knowledge about it and I’m one of them. Until recently I learned more about it and today I would like to share it with you guys. Well, this is like the previous post that I talked about being a small business but mainly for bloggers. Because I am a blogger and would make more sense if I write about it, you know. However, I think this could be for any other small business owners as well. So for this one, it will be 5 great marketing tips for small business owners like me who are bloggers haha. I’m sure marketing is one of the most important things in almost everything you do online or even local business. Because it’s the main way to get traffic or visitors to your work or blog. And it’s not only one thing that you can do which I will be talking about it in a bit. I’ve mentioned that we need a marketing plan in my previous post. However, if you decide to set a plan, this will help you a lot to set the perfect one. So if you don’t know what is the word marketing or you haven’t heard about it. I really doubt that no one has heard about it. At least 90% of bloggers and local business owners know about it and have been doing it for a while now. Because it’s important to us. and I hope these 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers or owners can be helpful.

Marketing is a method of promoting something. It could be a blog post, a product, a service, a YouTube video, and the list goes on forever haha. Maybe you have been doing it but you don’t have the word for it which is what I was doing before I learned a lot of things about it. And I decided to share these 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers.

There are tons of ways to promote and different places that you can be present to promote your stuff. However, for now, I’m not going to talk about where you could start marketing or which is the best place to do that. I’m going to talk about 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers. No matter where you are promoting, you will definitely need to follow what I’m about to mention for you guys.

FYI – I’m not a professional but I learn and I’m going to mention these 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers based on my experience and what I know. This way, we can all learn and grow together. And that’s why I started talking about this. Sharing blogging tips and things to help. What I notice is that people do a lot of marketing but they don’t know about the very important thing about it. Which is the perfect time. One of the 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers is to find the perfect time to promote or proceed on with your marketing plan.

The timing depends on when most of your audience will be online on the platform you promote. Whether is Twitter or Pinterest, there is a time when other users browse it and look for stuff. They could find yours among the things they look for. However, if you post it at a time when the audience is busy or offline. Then, you will get less interaction from them, and that affects your marketing plan progress.

Most people would be on during break time or when they are not working. So Look for the perfect time for you and your audience. And make sure to be present when they are browsing and not busy being at work haha. I learned this late and I’m still working on it.

I still trying to find the perfect time by the way that works for me and my marketing plan. It might take you a while but keep trying and trying until you find it. This is one of the problems that I struggled with for a while and finally, I learned how it works. Promoting stuff in the first weeks, will not be pleasant for anyone. Because you will not get any interaction from almost anyone. Or even you won’t get any followers for almost a week. That’s a possibility but you might get different results.

Guess what? you need to stay consistent and present even if no one sees it. Because it always starts like that and then, you start to take off and grow. Also, by doing other things that support it. For example, making friends and sharing each other social media posts. Help each other grow.

This is really important that you don’t expect anything in the first couple of weeks while you posting consistently. Don’t worry about the followers and views while you post. Sometimes it will test your patience when you doing so much work. Believe me, I’ve been through this before and it feels sucks. For example, you do a lot of work on your content and get almost no interaction at all. However, you can’t do anything but keep it going.

As you all know that right now we have a lot of social media platforms that we browse and promote on. You jump from one to another sometimes but not a lot do that, you know.

However, it’s not all platforms for everyone. Some people, don’t even know some platforms So, you need to take time to look where your audience is based on what you do or share on the internet. This way, you will have tons of traffic to your blog or website. And you will find the audience faster than sharing on a platform with less audience or not interested in your work or products.

I’m going to be honest, sharing my experience and how I learned that this is really important and the reason why I want to put it on the 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers. At first, I wasn’t paying attention to the audience but for what I can do and it took me a lot of time struggling to find it. You don’t need to do the same. Make sure to follow this tip.

Try to explore the platforms first and check where you can find the audience for your niche. Then, you will be able to create a business account and start generating tons and tons of traffic to your blog or website. Instead, of trying with the wrong audience and waste time in your life. It’s like one of the things that come to my mind first now and I decided to add to the 5 great marketing tips for small business bloggers.

4-Consistency

I’m sure you all have seen or read about this too many times. And that’s because it’s really important to stay consistent with your work and sharing on the internet. Something I found is that it stacks up for better results later and it will make sense. You just need to stick to it and don’t stop until you are at the top of your game.

Don’t just stay consistent but make sure the way you share it is really good. Because after a while, it might become a source of traffic and you didn’t know. Either it shows up on someone’s feed or someone browses your profile and shares it with his/her friends or followers. So make sure to spend some time on the post you going to share on social media.

Even if you have like one or two followers, being consistent will definitely help you to make your posts reach them and they can share it if it’s good or related to them. So don’t focus on just consistency but also quality as well. But, I’m sure you have more than two followers haha which will have a higher chance of getting more views and traffic.

It can be exhausting staying consistent. And I would really recommend having a plan for this. Don’t just try to post every day. Figure out something that will help you to stay consistent and don’t burn out. If you do, then, it’s over for consistency.   1. If you share stuff on Instagram then a good tip is to quickly “go live” as this will show how many of your followers are online now. Then you can get an idea of the quick engagement from sharing a post at that time.

  6. I struggle with a lot because I can post twice a day a lot but then I can be silent for a week. Like last week, I was severely and couldn’t post as often as I can.
