Something has caught my attention in the last few months. Here are great tips to help you save time and accomplish more than usual.
This is something I’ve been practicing for the last month. And as a blogger, we don’t have limited tasks unless we make one. However, this goes for any online content creator. If you want to do as many tasks as possible and still have time for yourself. Well, let’s find out how you can do that!

I’ve shared before about how to manage time and tasks. And this time it will be different. Because the goal of this post is how to save time. Allow yourself to do other things, or if you want to add more tasks, do them.
That would be up to you and how you feel. But saving time would be a set of things that we do. Today I would like to share some great tips to help you save time and do more than usual. Things that I do when I want to save time.
Please remember that I don’t claim that I’m the best because I’m just like you, still learning and practicing. I will try my best to be the best version of myself. And I would like to share what I have learned with you guys. And I hope you find them helpful. You can also share anything that works for you, or if any of these you follow as well.
When I say to save time, I mean we use just the time we need. Don’t waste unnecessary time on something. Because you will still have more to do. And if you keep wasting, everything will pile up and it will be difficult to recover.
And sometimes you limit yourself to doing several tasks because that’s the maximum number you can do in the time given. However, sometimes you can do more by following these great tips to help you save time and do more than usual.
This will be for bloggers and anyone in general. It’s not limited to one as long as you have tasks to do every day. You will need this. I’ve given these tips to some of my family members, and we are doing it with my girlfriend. When we don’t do them and when we follow these tips, we find there is so much difference.
1. Make use of the timer method.
This is my favorite of all the tips. When I want to do any task, I set a timer for how long that task should take. Let me tell you, it helps me and my girlfriend a lot when we do it. So, I would highly recommend you do it.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a blogging task or any task in general. You will save a lot of time when you have a timer. Because you will stay focused until you finish it. Also, if there is any distraction, you won’t have time to be distracted.
Set a proximate timer and you can adjust how long you need. Avoid using more time than you need will help you a lot to save time. That’s why it’s number one on this list of great tips to help you save time and do more than usual.
Using the phone to set the timer is my favorite way to do it. However, if you have other ways of setting a timer. That would be awesome. Don’t set a random timer in your mind. It’s not the same when you have the countdown.
When you manage to do this. Try to finish that task in a shorter timer. So, you can save more time. And you can use that time to do other things or more tasks than you usually do. It’s not going to be easy, but with more practice, things will get easier for you.
2. Short breaks to rest mentally and physically
I’ve said this many times, and I say it again. It’s not about how long you take. Because you might stop at any minute from being exhausted or feeling tired mentally. That means you didn’t finish any tasks. So, taking breaks helps a lot to ensure that you finish tasks as fast as possible.
Something we do is stretch or move around. You could watch videos or whatever. But, if you are a blogger. It will be good to stop watching the screen rather than keep watching the screen. So, it depends on what you do. Make sure to rest both mentally and physically to ensure that the process continues until all tasks are completed.
This will help you to gain momentum, which is very important to doing things. Therefore, these short breaks are perfect if you want to finish as soon as possible. Don’t try to stress yourself during these short breaks.
Since we don’t have time to talk during the day. I also take this short break to talk with my girlfriend. No business, no work talk. Just general talk and maybe a little flirting haha. So, make sure that you are well-rested during these short breaks.
3. Pay attention and track time.
Well, sometimes we don’t focus on this. But we must track time. Paying attention to time will help you avoid wasting time. It’s something we need to practice because we tend to forget to do this.
Even if you are busy working on your tasks. Make sure to take a few minutes to check the time. How much time is left for you? This way, you will ensure that you don’t waste more time and manage tasks as well.
Tracking time is important because if you don’t do it. Time will fly so fast that we won’t know where it went haha. So, I decided to always keep track of time and how many hours it took me to finish any tasks. And it helped me stay focused.

This is going to be good when you set timers. You don’t have to worry about this if you are using a timer for anything. But if you are not doing it, then, always pay attention to the time and how many tasks are left to do. It’s one of the important and great tips to help you save time and do more than usual.
4. Don’t use the headphones/headset while working.
I just found this is a problem because when I have headphones on while working, I forget to track time. So, I decided to take it off and immediately felt the difference. Because I stay focused and present at the moment, and that helps me to do things quickly.
Having my headphones or headset on, always leads me to watch or listen to music. Sometimes it turn into a distraction for me and doesn’t let me finish my tasks. That will lead to wasting time on one task rather than finishing it and moving on to the next one.
Well, there is one situation in which you can use it. When you feel like you are not distracted by anything else. You can put the headphones on while working. However, it would be so much better without headphones or headsets.
This doesn’t mean you can’t listen to music. Because you can certainly listen to music or podcasts without headphones. It’s been a long time since I’ve been doing this and finally found out that it’s a big problem, so now I’m trying to stop wearing it while working. Since it helped me, I decided to add it to this list of great tips to help you save time and do more than usual.
For bloggers, even though it’s impossible or difficult to do it. Working without any music or distraction can increase your focus on the tasks. I’m still practicing this one, but if you want to try it. It will help you to save time and do things faster.
I wanted to add it to this list of great tips to help you save time and do more than usual. But I’m not 100% sure it does help bloggers. Because sometimes it gets boring and we need some distraction. So, I just put it in the FYI section. At some moments, I feel more focused when I don’t listen to anything.
