Hello everyone and welcome again to my blog. Today I’m going to share my first ever love story. It’s not just a story but also something that can highlight the reason and how it’s important to hold on to your partner. I’m going to use short stories to tell something important that we should know if we are in a relationship. This is how it’s important not to give up on your partner yet.

If you are new to the blog, I started writing short fictional stories and sometimes I like to write about tips or something important in a short story. It’s for fun and education. What better idea to share about relationships and love than this week?

As you all know, valentine’s day is around the corner. And since I did something similar on Christmas week, well, I thought why not do one for valentine’s day as well? People share gift ideas and things to celebrate with their partners.

Well, I’m going to share a fun little story. About how it’s important not to give up on your partner yet and I hope you guys enjoy reading it.

How it’s important not to give up on your partner yet

Being in a relationship is not easy. Whether couples or just boyfriends and couples. And I would say it depends on how real the love is. But also how much do you guys love each other? What are you willing to do for this relationship from both sides?

With today’s story, I would like to explain how it’s important not to give up on your partner yet. Also, I share the story from both perspectives. Being a girlfriend and boyfriend. I will try my best to share from both because when together work to build a healthy relationship. Things will be easy to handle and go through almost everything.

This can be a good story to read for valentine’s day. And the moments in this story are based on real-life moments. However, it doesn’t have to be something that happened to everyone. Because each relationship is unique.

The story plot:

It talks about a relationship between two, one named Mike and the other person, Julia. How did they become girlfriend and boyfriend and what did they go through? And how did they react to the situations? And they show why and how it’s important not to give up on your partner yet.

As you read through the story, you will know more about these two. You will know it’s based on real-life moments and things we do. So, I hope you can take something from this story and how it’s important not to give up on your partner yet.

The story

As time passes, the sun rises on a beautiful Sunday and the clear sky. Mike’s alarm rings and it was 6:07 AM at that time. Mike didn’t have enough sleep. So, he turns off the alarm and goes back to sleep for a few more hours.

It was summer, and he had nothing to worry about in the morning since it was Sunday. The alarm was set for him to wake up during the week because Sunday was his day off.

A few hours later, Mike woke up, and he was still feeling a bit tired. He went to wash his face and started his day with a hot coffee and a pancake for his breakfast. Since he lives alone, he would do everything for himself, and he does this every day.

A big surprise is waiting for Mike and that would be his birthday the next day. And that was on Monday. As he was eating breakfast, he got a call from his friend called “John”. Mike’s phone rings but he left the phone in his room.

However, Mike was able to catch the call last second before John stop calling him. “Yoo… Finally, you answered my call” John said and as Mike chewed his food he replied, “Sorry, I was eating breakfast and left my phone in the room”.

Part one

After being on a call with John, Mike decided to finish his breakfast, and he dressed up to go to buy some groceries for the week. Because he would be busy all week at work, he likes to buy things on Sunday and do this every week.

Mike drove to the supermarket to buy things. And as he walked around and put things in the shopping cart, he spotted a girl who was beautiful looking and she was buying some groceries as well. However, they just locked eyes for a couple of minutes, but they had to go their separate ways.

Mike wasn’t so concerned about it and thought was just a random moment that would happen. Since this happens to almost everyone, he didn’t care to approach the girl and talk with her. So, he goes to the cashier and pays for the groceries, and goes back home.

The moment Mike came back home was at noon around 12 PM felt hungry. However, as he was thinking about what to eat, the manager called him. And the manager goes “Hey, Mike, I’m sorry, I know it’s your day off but we need to come, please”. Mike calmly replied, “Sure, I can come, but this is unexpected. ” he laughed after finishing talking and hang up the call to make his way there.

He decided to save gas and goes by bus there which luckily was the perfect place close to the bus stop and it won’t take so long. As he was waiting for the bus to come. The same girl, by accident, was at the same bus stop waiting.

Part two

This time, they were closer than when they saw each other at the supermarket. Mike had no option but to say “hi”. He introduced himself by saying, “Hey, my name is Mike” and the girl replied, “Hey, my name is Julia, nice to meet you”.

The bus took a little longer, and they continued talking with each other, sharing more details about themselves. And that’s when Mike knew that Julia is 20 years old and she study in college. That would be close to Mike, age 24 years old, but he works as a cashier.

After their talk, Mike decided to invite her to his birthday party which is in the next day. And after a few minutes of him trying to convince her to come as she felt strange to come this fast to parties with him. She was going just like a friend to the party.

Mike went to the manager and came back home to chill for the day. Luckily, Mike got Julia’s phone number, and they were texting the whole day. Well, at night, Mike was thinking about the texts and the moment they met.

The next day, Mike woke up at 6:07 AM and got ready to head out to work. Before he went out, he texted Julia Good morning, and he also reminded her about the birthday party. Even though Mike was working, they kept texting and by the hour they feel comfortable texting each other and laughing.

After a few hours, it’s Mike’s time to leave work and go to have his birthday with friends and family. He had also a mini party with his colleagues to celebrate his birthday.

Part three

Mike drives home to prepare and calls Julia to come. Because he will host the party at his house. Later, she showed up dressed beautifully and was ready for the party.

As everyone was dancing and talking, enjoying the party, Mike has a close distance moment from Julia. At that moment, they stared at each other, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, Mike was leaning toward her for a kiss.

Julia got a bit surprised, but reciprocated and leaned forward to kiss back. You can tell the surprised look on Julia as she wasn’t expecting that to happen. Her first response to this was “Aaa.. what just happened?” And Mike goes “I’m sorry”.

Well, they continued the party and enjoy the rest of his birthday. There was no hard feeling between them for what happened.

A few days passed after the party, which was Monday. Julia and Mike kept texting each other. And Mike thought to give it a shot and ask her to be his girlfriend. He didn’t want to deal with the rejection face to face. So, he decided to call her and ask her the question.

On his mind, it won’t be possible for that to happen, that she would say yes. As he was talking to her, he was nervous and Julia asked him, “Why do you sound nervous? ” And he goes “Aaa…” that was the moment he asked her.

Part four

Julia seemed calm, and after talking for a few minutes on the phone about it. She decided to give it a shot and see how things go. It was his mission to carry on and take care of this relationship after that call, and that was his goal.

He put goals and dreams after she said yes and wanted to do something big like owning a business. So, he would save money every day to achieve his goal. Even though the cashier might be enough but he doesn’t want to live check by check every month.

As days passed while being in love with Julia, they developed their relationship, and love grew by the day. And they enjoyed being together. However, it didn’t last for a long time. And Mike started to go into financial problems. Since he is just living check by check and doesn’t have enough money t enjoy other things.

Mike started to see his dreams become impossible because of the problems. Even though he was going through times, he would still save money to achieve his goal of owning a business. Since he is going through difficult times, Julia thought would be best to break up with him because that would help him to worry less.

However, that got Mike upset and promised Julia that things will get better. And talked to Julia about everything and they are open and understand each other. Mike started to find opportunities to have his business with the money he saved. Since he saved a lot, he was able to afford it.

Part five

While it seemed difficult for the situation to get better in Julia’s mind. Mike was making good progress but didn’t tell her about it. And later, after a couple of weeks, he told her and she was surprised and also happy. Because she knew that it was worth the wait.

Julia knew she was mistaken to think that ending up the relationship would help. However, working together is better, and that’s what Mike and Julia did after this. Things started to get better for them both and they got happy again together.

A few weeks since the situation got better and things going well for both. It might seem that everything is perfect. And although they are happy together, Mike was dealing with Julia’s anger issues and he didn’t know what to do.

She would get upset over little things and sometimes make Mike frustrated. And Mike kept dealing with this until he could no more. He reached to point he wouldn’t be with her for some moments. He was thinking of giving up on the relationship.

Part six

However, Mike was determined to find a solution to this. Also, she waited for him to fix the issue and stand up to be the man of the relationship. Changing a habit like this is not easy. So, Mike took another approach to this and thought of a way to deal with this.

He took some days to study this and try to fix it. What makes her angry and how to deal with it. And finally, he managed to pull himself together and deal with it. He was doing all of this without telling his girlfriend about it. And now they both live happily together and even though it’s not perfect they working together to have the relationship they wanted.

Giving up won’t solve anything. In the end, you could have a good life being with the one you love. So, if you have something bad in the relationship, you should work on it together. Because you can get amazing life out of that. And that’s How it’s important not to give up on your partner yet.
