How to get more ideas for a blog post

So let me picture this for you guys first. We all take a time to think about ideas. And there is nothing with that. However, sometimes, our minds might be empty or it’s hard to get ideas right away.

Sometimes I keep thinking of an idea to write about and I get no idea or get lost. Even if I get one idea, how about next time or when finish all the ideas you got. Then, I would have to spend another time thinking. And might get nothing as well, therefore, post schedule would be ruined.

If you notice in the title, I said more ideas. Which means you already have one. And this post will help you to get ready for the next time. So this what I’m going to talk about in this post.

There might be more ideas than what’s on this post. And if you have one, you can share it in the comment below. But I’m going to share 3 of the ideas and tips that can help to get new blog post ideas.

1-Explore

First thing I highly recommend, and what I usually do now when I get stuck. Also, when my mind is empty. I Explore on the internet and see what others do or share.

This one doesn’t mean to copy them, but I use this as a way to find out what other people have done. So I know how far things could get. And then, it help me to get more ideas.

It’s like at first, your mind might be empty because there is nothing you can do. But after seeing other people doing other things. You would be like “Oh, so I can do that”

From there, it gives you more ideas to build on your own and get creative with ideas to share.

This is one of the things I found myself that I should’ve done earlier. And lately, I’ve been inspired by a lot of bloggers to share and write about more ideas. It doesn’t have to be the same idea. But from that idea, more ideas could come to your mind. If that makes sense, you know.

2- Stay focused

This is another thing that I found about recently. I don’t know about you guys, but that’s true haha. Like I said on my Twitter, things this year will be different.

Anyway, another way to get more ideas is by staying focused. If you are like me, Doing crafty projects, or even cooking. During the process of making the recipe or any DIY idea, put on your mind that you looking for new post ideas.

While you making the recipe or DIY project, stay focused and look for ideas that you can turn into a blog post.

Trust me, this would put a highlight on things you didn’t even know you could write about. You might even get new ones that haven’t been posted on the internet yet.

Of course, you would have to look more at the keywords and everything. Since it’s related to the things you do and writes about, it doesn’t matter if it’s a new post idea, people would still read it, you know. And it could be a new addition to the blog for future posts.

3-Get back to old ideas

Like everything, we need a point to start. And sometimes we get lost thinking about ideas. So going to back what we have done already and old ideas. Would give more light on things to write about.

It could be the same idea with different items. The same recipe with a different sauce and so on. These kinda things that you could write about and it’s new.

You will get more ideas from starting by looking at old ideas. And this is something I personally do every time I want to write about a unique and new idea that I haven’t done, but I’m lost.

So it’s safe to say that this is a pretty good point to start if you looking for more ideas. And again, I’m not sure if you do this, but I have been doing this for a long time.

If you notice, some of the new posts were inspired by old ideas. And some of my old projects were upgraded with a new and better look.
