Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I wrote a blog post and I already miss writing. Last week wasn’t meant to be off, but I guess sometimes we can’t control everything, you know. You don’t know what will happen. And that’s the part where it gets more interesting. Anyway, today I would like to share about How to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger
You know, sometimes I wish there is a time when I just get to enjoy my day. And laugh like I was a kid and have nothing to worry about. But to have the most famous circle that consists of eating, sleeping, and having fun with friends.
That would be something weird for me. Because I’ve only been focusing on my improving my work. And just doing other things related to my work. However, I guess writing a post is not part of it most of the time haha. Well, because I missed another week last week.
I don’t know why I’m still struggling to get ahead on writing these posts. And have the time to focus on working on them. I’m sure one day I will be able to do that and then, I can be proud of myself haha.
How to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger
Since we look at the screen a lot during the day being bloggers. We need to make sure that our eyes’ health is good. And that’s what this post will be about. If you didn’t know, I have an eye problem, and I have been wearing glasses since I was a kid.
For that, I need to follow a routine that can help me keep my eyes fresh and healthy. I decided to share it with you and what I do in my day. These things are important either you have very good eyes or have any eye problem.
This was my first time sharing tips on my blog And that’s how I got today’s post. I hope you will enjoy it and by the way, a happy new month for everyone. I hope it will be better if you didn’t have a good one last month. And even better if you did.
In the last post, I did three steps related to blogging that would help with writing a blog post. And some other situations in our lives. This time I’m going to write about tips. Sharing how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger.
Also, as a person who uses electronics for so many hours daily. Because that’s what I do. And my eyes have issues which are kinda something I need to take care of. But I will try to help others by sharing what I’m doing to accomplish this task. I would love to know what you guys think of it.
If you don’t know me, I have been wearing glasses almost my entire life. I had it since I was a kid to a point where taking it off feels like I’m another person. You know the moment when you look at the mirror and be like ‘Oh my god, I look different.
Well, that’s my story of life, and how I usually react because I rarely take my glasses off. It’s permanent until it gets better. Therefore, this is very important for how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger.
1. Use only one of both
Sometimes as a blogger we tend to use our cellphone and laptop at the same time. We find it easy to check out social media through our tablets or iPads or whatever reason it could be. However, this is not healthy. First tip about how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger.
Because our eyes use a different level of focus based on the size of the screen. That would make it difficult if we keep changing it from small to big and so on. Also, sometimes we may not realize that both devices have different brightness. And this may be another reason that would hurt the eyes.
It’s not good to use them both at the same time. This is something I used to do and end up with my eyes hurt and exhausted quickly. Later, I decided to stop it whenever I don’t use my laptop. I can use my phone to browse or finish some work.
I highly recommend that you refrain from using both at the same time. Unless it’s a rare and special situation. A time you need to use both urgently for something. Well, you can use it because it will be one time. That won’t be a problem at all.
Especially, if you have any eye problems or don’t see well. It’s only going to hurt your eyes more and can’t continue working. That will lead to cause your progress to stop for some time. And we don’t need that to happen. So, it’s important to learn How to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger.
Don’t work on both to finish blogging tasks or even just do normal things. It’s not good in general to multitask using your phone and laptop or PC. Use one to finish the work and get it all done and later when you have done it. You can use the other device.
2. Drink enough water
Next, on the list of how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger. You need to drink enough water. And it keeps your body hydrated. We easily could forget about it which leads to problems if our body gets dry. It took a few tries to remember to drink enough water lol.
Make sure the water is nearby when you are working on your blog or doing any blogging tasks. This way, it can be easy and quick to drink more water. If you don’t have it on the desk or somewhere nearby. You will forget to drink.
If you want to know How to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger. This is one of the most important tips. Because the body requires tons of water. And when it gets dry, it will be a problem not just for the eyes, but for other parts of our body.
Bloggers or people who spend a lot of hours in front of the screen need to drink more water than the average human. That if you want to keep your eyes and body fresh and healthy. Staying hydrated is very important.

You would feel dry if you keep working on your blog and don’t drink enough water. I know this because I’ve been through it before. And I feel fresh when I drink after that. So, I decided not to keep my body without water for a while.
3. Good natural light during the day
Also, something to keep the eyes fresh and healthy is when you have tons of natural light in the place you work at. It just feels good to have that lights and get exposed to the sun. Therefore, it’s important to have good and enough light in your office or wherever you work at.
Try to open the windows for more lights from the sun. It’s good to have the lights all over the room and office. If you don’t like the light sun, you have the lamp lights with a little natural light as well. This way, it can still give you some sunlight.
For me, I wait for the sunlight and open the windows to help get light all over the room. And get some sun on my body as well. Since blogging is time-consuming and sometimes we don’t get to go out and get the sunlight.
Having good light is good for the eyes but also the sunlight is good for the body. You get two benefits from doing this. Therefore, it’s important and will be worth it to do this. If you want to know about how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger or a person who uses a laptop for work.
Trust me, having good light in the room and especially, when it’s sunlight. It’s great for the eyes. You don’t get the sunlight directly on you. As long as it lights up the room. That would be enough and you can work all you want.
4. Fresh air
This is something that I figured out by experience. When I’m blogging and don’t have fresh air in the office or room. It doesn’t feel good and I struggle to work until I open the windows for fresh air. Also, I like to go out for a walk sometimes to get fresh air.
You don’t just have good and healthy eyes. But you also get a healthy body and mind. Therefore, it makes a very important tip to do it and stay healthy. How to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger can have a lot of tips.
When there is no fresh air, it gets difficult for you to work. Well, I didn’t feel that at first but when I tried to open the windows. It felt different even to my eyes. After that, I decided to keep the air fresh in the room and it help me a lot to stay healthy.
It might not seem important to the eyes, but it doesn’t help and make a difference if you don’t have fresh air. You need to allow the oxygen to reach the head so you can see and also feel it. So, when you have fresh air and you can do meditation for a bit during work helping you relax.
5. Walk or run
I know blogging can be time-consuming, but we can’t forget our health. And when you go for a walk or a short run during the day. It helps to keep the blood moving all over the body. And that’s something the parts of the body need in some cases.
At least for me, I find it helps me a lot with my eyes and keeps them healthy. It feels different when I go for a walk or short run. Makes me feel better and more active. This way, I can work and don’t have to worry about anything at all.

Keeping the blood flowing all over the body is important and reaching the head is also important. It keeps everything running smoothly and keeps you healthy. For that, I decided to add it to the list of how to keep your eyes fresh and healthy being a blogger.
6. Eat vegetables and food to boost
Also, one of the most common ways to keep your eyes healthy is by eating food and vegetables that help to keep them healthy. And I’m assuming all know about this and what type of vegetables and fruits you can eat to boost your vision.

I like to eat eggs, carrots, and bananas. However, I think Vitamin A is the one that can boost your vision. And you can find whatever you have or whatever you can buy. And you can include it in your diet and eat it every day.

I have learned to schedule all of my social media posts on my computer. So I am working on the computer my phone is in the other room on the charger. I only check my phone after the day is done and I may want to make a tiktok. LOL

I make a point of getting up and moving away from my desk throughout the working day, even if its just for a couple of minutes – helps give your eyes a rest and helps your back too (sitting for too long isn’t good!)

I am guilty of no. 1, lol…. I will try to limit and avoid that now. If its ipad I will stick to it and save my phone. But Im glad I am doing the rest, like running, fresh air, eating healthy.
