Hello, everyone! Welcome to the first post of the week. Ah, I know it’s the second day of the posting schedule haha. I wasn’t feeling well for the first day, but I’m back! And I’m back with a new DIY craft project. I know it’s been a while. But this time I got something awesome for you guys. This is how to make an awesome custom headset stand.
It’s been a while since I shared a DIY craft project. Things weren’t the best in the past couple of days. And I was organizing the post ideas and made a new content table.
I was excited to share it with you guys, but when things didn’t go well. It’s just how life is, you know. But, the good thing I’m back today with another awesome DIY craft idea. A custom headset stands that you can make at home.
Also, I was kinda lost on what to decide. Since I did the content table and had a couple of ideas in mind which was the updated DIY crafts. However, for some reason, I wasn’t really convinced that the ideas will do well. If I share them. I’m going to share with you guys what I wanted and you can help me out to decide.
Long story short, I wanted to try to separate the project from the tutorial. One post will be showing the DIY craft project(the finished look of items and full project). And following it with how I made it on another post. Let me know what you guys think if it would a good idea or not!

How to make an awesome custom headset stand
So This post will be like I used to write. If you are an old reader. You already know what’s up haha. However, I want to try something new, if you guys like that idea, let me know.
For this post I made an awesome headset stand using cardboard and paper. My usual materials for now haha. Things most of us might already have at home.
I already made one before but it’s outdated. I think it’s time for an upgrade. This time, I did it differently and with a new design and style. The previous was simple and easy. This one is easy but n a fashion way I guess haha
As easy as it could be, this one is also an idea to decorate. It works as a desk decoration and headset stand. And on top of that, It also shouldn’t take a long time to make which is awesome.
How awesome that you can make things at home with daily use materials. And also help you to stay organized. Well, let’s get started and see how to make this awesome headset stand.
What do I need?
Well, at first, I’m going to show you guys what do we need for this DIY craft headset stand. As we don’t need a lot for this project. This is why it won’t take much time.
This is one of the projects which has more benefits and it doesn’t require much effort.
Here we go! As you can see in the pictures above, the things we need for this project. I think by just seeing them, you guys already know what is it all about and how to make them.
The first picture is the headset stands which I will show you guys in a bit. How it will look like. But I cut the long cardboard 12cm long and 4cm wide. And then, the small one is about 5cm long and 4cm wide. It’s a new way that I thought about it. I made two for the right and the left side.
The second picture is going to be between the ear cups to make it look good. And hold it in one position. I’m also going to show you guys how I made that in a bit as well. The measures for this one depends on the headset you have.
And the third picture is an additional thing that I thought of which will help to hold the headset. They will be glued to the headset stands. Nothing will be added other than just the white layer using paper.
The last one is the main part which is the base where everything will on. And I already added the white layer to it. The measure for the base is 20.5cm in length and 19.5cm in width. Again, it also depends on the headset unless you have the same headset size.
How to make it
Alright, now we have what we need. So let’s see how to make it. Before jumping into the process. My new idea for the updated craft content is this part. It would be on another post. Where I just show how to make each item.
The first post of the DIY craft project would be just showing the finished look of each item and the full project. So this way, I get to share with you the full project and the tutorial in two different posts. What do you guys think of this idea? don’t forget to share your thoughts on it.
Anyways, let’s see how to make everything, the stand, the box that will be between the ear cups of the headset.
The headset stand
I will start with the headset stand. As you can see in the picture above. I glued the small pieces of the cardboard on either side, above or below which will be the top first.
Then, after glowing either side, as you can see in the picture. Next, I glued it to the long cardboard. And it would be a stand but missing a couple of things like white layer lol. I also glued the bottom.
So I usually add the white layer before gluing the parts. But it changes the measures. However, this time I decided to change the way I add it. And for this project, I decided to add it at the end which turned out to be better.
This is how it looks after adding only the white layer. Comparing with the previous way of me adding before. This looks better, at least with measures and how turned out at the end.
I will try it a couple of times and see which one better. I’m pretty sure from the first attempt, I’m going to add the white layer after gluing the pieces because it gives it better look.
The second item is going to be the box between the ear cups I mentioned earlier. It’s as easy as you can see in the picture above. I just glued the pieces together on the edge and form a box.
Adding the white layer to the boxes is the easiest one I ever done for all projects. So after I made it, just add the white layer using paper, it’s done!
These are without any decorations and I was hesitant between two decoration ideas. One is the flame where it shows flame on it as you will see in a bit. And the second one was blue stars and that’s what I did on this project.
As you can see in the pictures above. I mentioned about two pieces will be on the stands. Well, now you know how and where I added them haha. Also, the decoration idea is also simple and it looks good as well.
