However, it will be different, but not DIY projects yet. I would like to share something that will help you and it’s what I do to help me. These are tips to help you turn simple materials into something cool.

We all have that moment when we see something simple stuff in the house. But we don’t know what to do with that simple material or anything. Meanwhile, there can be cool things that you can make out of that material of thing. Let’s learn how you can get it. As always before, I jump into the tips. I would like to talk a little about this post and what you can expect from it. Explain some parts of the post. And then, I can talk about the tips and learn more about how can you can turn simple material into something cool.

When I say simple materials, this can be anything that can you see in the house. Well, such as a piece of cloth. A piece of wood and even plastic. However, it needs to be in good shape and not destroyed. Unless it is something, we still can work with it. That would be fine as well.

Maybe you have a bunch of papers in the house and don’t know what to do. Well, for that, I have a few projects on the blog. Because I work with paper and cardboard. I already shared some cool ideas you can craft.

Even though the title doesn’t have a DIY craft. This post is a DIY and since I can’t share any project at the moment. These types of posts will be a replacement until I can do it. And it won’t be so long until the DIY rafts are back. I got some cool ideas that I want to craft in my mind already. Just waiting to sort things out and then I can start crafting.

I’m sure with any materials you can use one or two of these tips to get ideas. And the rest will be on you. The process of crafting or doing the idea should be easy or you can manage to do it. Unless you want to make it a bit complicated for you.

Everything in the process will be about how you want to do it. So, you can make it fast or easy and still get the results. However, I highly recommend that you go slow and careful. This way, you craft it for the long turn.

1. Every day keep checking on ideas

The first one of these tips to help you turn simple materials into something cool is looking for ideas. Now, you can check ideas on the internet when you want to craft something. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t check any other days.

As you keep browsing the internet. Try to look for DIY ideas and not just for one or two days. Don’t stop any time because you will never what material you will have. And surely, out of these ideas, you check every day. There will be something that can be made out of that material.

Also, people love to share their ideas. And when you keep checking every day. You will find new ideas from doing that. You can make your ideas. This way, it will be possible for you to get something cool that you can get out of the material you have.

When you look on the internet, try different keywords. Keywords can be a name of different materials. Because if you type only “DIY ideas” you will get random things. And most of them won’t be about that material.

And for me, I still love to check out other people’s crafts. Even though I’m not crafting at the moment. It will come in handy when I start crafting again. So, you don’t need to check on the internet only when you are about to craft something.

Extra tip

I would recommend that you follow people who share ideas on social media. And you don’t have to look on the internet. Just check your timeline and see what others are posting that can help you to get inspiration.

2. Talk with other friends about ideas

Well, something I found cool is that sometimes I can’t find anything on the internet for some materials. However, people can get creative and don’t share it. Therefore, it’s good to talk with your friends about it. Maybe they will have something for you that you can craft using that material.

You will never know what your friends have in their minds. So, don’t be shy to tell them what you have. And that you wonder if there is any idea that can be made. Something cool you can get out of that material.

Maybe you can together brainstorm and get something cool. Sometimes when I talk with my cousin about things like that. We end up having new ideas in mind. And I just get back home and craft that idea which ends up a cool idea.

Even if your friends don’t have any idea. They can help you when there is an idea. Tell them to tell you if they find something. Therefore, it still will be worth telling your friends about it. And you can keep that material until you find a new idea.

This is a cool idea if you can’t find something on the internet. Some of us don’t even know what to look for in that material. However, when talking about friends, they might have something or they can help you.

Don’t talk to one or two. You can tell as many as possible because you will never know who knows what. And it’s not a shame to talk about it. Just like you talk about other things in life. This can be one thing you guys can talk about.

3. What other items can work with that material

When you have the material. It might look simple but with using other items. You will be able to make something cool out of them. Since I don’t know what material you have. Spend some time thinking of what other items this material can work with.

The other items can be anything. Sticks or other materials or even cardboard. I’m sure you will be able to find something cool. However, you need to make sure that it’s good and can be made or help you to use that material.

It helped me a lot when I have simple materials. And I’m using this method with cardboard. Because of its simple material. A lot of people don’t think you can do so much with this material. But when I spend time thinking about what I can do using other materials. I get tons of ideas in mind and then I can choose the best out of them.

Don’t worry that it will take time. Because sometimes it won’t take long to figure this out. Maybe if it’s something complicated material. You will need to spend some time figuring it out. However, it won’t take a long time, anyway.

Don’t skip any ideas you get because, at some point in time, you will need them. Maybe will come in handy someday and those ideas you saved will help you to use that material. There will be different times in your day or week that you get ideas and keep them written somewhere.

You will be out with friends, talking and getting ideas. This is your time to write and note these ideas. Because you will never know when it will come in handy. Therefore, we just can save them somewhere.

I’ve got some ideas from the time that I talked with friends outside, but I noted them and remembered when I was brainstorming ideas. So, it’s a great and helpful way to turn simple materials into something cool.

This is something you will need to develop because you are not used to doing it at some point. So, if you want to do it and can’t. Don’t freak out. Because you will need time to develop it and make it a habit. Try your best to remember and practice.
