Hello everyone and welcome to a new post. This week I started with the idea that I planned. However, it took me a long time that I needed. And for that, I will make it for the second post or third post of this week. However, this week, It will be about marketing. And it will be about the best ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods.

A tease about the post supposed to be on this day. It’s one idea that I posted on my old blog. However, I decided it’s better that I stop posting it and maybe come back to it one day. Well, I guess it’s time for me to get it back.

There will be more ideas coming in the future. I can’t wait for you guys to read it. It’s going to be so much fun writing about it. And try different things and share them on my blog here. That means there will be things to try if I want to write about it. During my break, I took the time to organize things and how things should be done.

Since I couldn’t finish it on time. I’m going to share this with you today. And I will explain more about this post. I hope you find it helpful. As always, I’m sharing my experience and the thing I go through. What I am about to share with you is all from my experience and what I learn.

Today I would like to share with you guys ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods. We all know that it’s always changing and sometimes we get new methods to market your content or whatever you have. And maybe you already know it but I’m going to share ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods I do which help me.

Marketing always improving whether for email marketing or content marketing. However, these ways will work well with any type of marketing as long as you go the right way with it. You may ask how… well, I will share more when I talk about these ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods.

One skill you need to develop for this is how to observe information and learn. You need to be passionate about learning and improving. Because if you don’t have that you will lose motivation to do it. And that won’t be so good for you and your brand.

I’m sharing this from a blogger perspective. However, this will work with YouTubers and streamers or any content creator. But there should be minor changes to the ways which I will also explain. They have similar ways but an unfamiliar process.

Marketing will be needed for anything either online or local work. And this will be for both marketings. However, it will have different processes and how to do it. You will find the people who do local marketing on the internet.

1-Be active in your community

I say in your community because each content creator on the internet has a sizeable community. And one of the best ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods is that you need to be active. Make it a habit to check on what others doing and observe them. Don’t worry, they do the same as you learn from other people and adapt to the new methods.

If you are new to blogging, making YouTube videos, or creating any content. Take the time of your day to check on others and learn from them. Maybe they found new ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods that will help you get more traffic.

You might also find a new way that will help YOUR brand. So, don’t keep making content and just share it on social media. Try to be also active and comment on other people’s content. Maybe interact with others which can help to make new friends.

We can use marketing methods a lot the same way but don’t have to be the same. You can change the way how you do it. Add more to make it unique and maybe something that shows your style or character. The way how you like to it does.

We can find each community on multiple social media platforms. And each platform can have different methods. So, take your time checking on as many as you can. Try not to stress yourself over this because it’s going to take time. Sometimes new methods will be trending in time you don’t expect. And this is one way to stay up to date with new marketing methods that will help you.

2-Search on YouTube and google

This is for new bloggers or any content creators. One of the best ways to stay up to date is by looking. People love to share their experiences and help others by sharing what they learned. Make sure you check the date of the post or video. Sometimes it’s an old post.

You can’t find marketing methods in 2020 that was tending in 2019. Every year it changes or even months. So, try to look at the date of the post before you read it. I did this mistake before and that made me use old methods thinking they were new lol.

Also, I recommend checking from time to time on YouTube. I’m assuming people forget to do this, but it’s really helpful. Try to explore the internet and see what’s going on there. Who knows? You might get something cool that can help you to get more traffic.

There are different keywords you can use to get results for ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods. However, you can use “new ways to get traffic” or “new methods to drive traffic. People can use other keywords and you can type whatever you like or know.

3-Follow people on social media in the same niche as you

This will make sure you get the best results when you do the first one I mentioned on this list of ways to stay up to date with new marketing methods. Being only active won’t help a lot but when you follow people in the same niche as you. You get new ways to promote your content.

It doesn’t mean you can’t follow other people. However, each niche can also have different ways to promote it. Well, sometimes it’s not about where, but also how. So, you can get a new way how to share your content on social media. Always stay eager to learn to grow and adapt. These ways to stay up to date with the new marketing methods will help to drive more traffic to your blog.

Don’t stick to one social media. I would highly recommend that you check other platforms. Because you might find your niche trending on another platform. And you missing out on tons of traffic. If you don’t find it, it would be an unfamiliar experience and something you learn about in the future.

However, you can also market your content that works with others in different niches. So, keep learning and improve the way you promote. And following others and being active will give you the best results.

4. Go out to events and talk with people

This is something new and I find it helpful. There are bloggers events and events in general. However, when you go out, don’t be shy to talk with other people. This way, you will be able to learn new things from them.

Sometimes you will find people who have interests like you but you couldn’t find them online. Making friends also can help a lot to learn. Because one becomes friends with others, it will be easy for both to share new and old information.

Events that have open invites for everyone that doesn’t have to be blogging events. Because you will find bloggers everywhere haha. We don’t have a lot of events, anyway. So, we tend to go to other general events and conferences.

It might not be direct getting new ways to market. But it’s a great way in the long run. Well, you will focus on other ways until you get something from this method of getting the latest marketing ways.

Being engaged with the communities either online or physically will help a lot to get new methods and learn from each other. It’s not just from the online world because the people on the internet, you will see in real life.

5. Observe other successful bloggers and companies

Sometimes you will find other new methods by just paying attention to what other companies and bloggers do. And I’m not going to lie, this is something I did haha. But, I didn’t copy the same way. It’s more like finding new inspiration on how to market your content or blog.

Marketing methods do not have copyrights as long as you are not copying the same thing others do. So, you might see many companies or bloggers do the same marketing methods and you can do that as well.

Well, since there are different types of content. The marketing methods will differ from one to another. Make sure to find what works for what you share on the internet. Because you don’t want t waste time doing something that won’t help.

You can follow successful people who have the same niche as you. This way, you don’t have to worry about methods that don’t work with your niche and content. It will be easier to find new people but this can be online or wherever you go in real life.

Before you can do that. Make sure that you have a good knowledge base about marketing. It will help you a lot to understand what other people do. Otherwise, it might not make sense to you and you will skip on good opportunities or methods.

I would say it would take time to get new methods. And for that, don’t rush the process and start early. Sometimes you might not find something and that’s ok. Also, you need to do the one before this method because it will help you with this.
