Hello everyone and welcome to another post this week. Like I said in my previous post. This week I’m going to test new ideas that will support the DIY craft projects. And Today I got something cool for you. These are what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
Today I got something different from the DIY craft content. I want to know what you guys think of it. Something cool and helpful for bloggers that are just starting.
I have been blogging for a hot minute now. And I have gone through a lot of mistakes and learned so much. So I thought to add this topic to help others as well in the blogging community. And this post about what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger are the first example of what is to come.
Also, aside from this, I added a like button for people who don’t have a WordPress account. This way, everyone can interact and hit the like button if I did a good job posting something helpful haha.
As I said, I’m trying to add new stuff and test new content to help crafty projects. I was doing travel before, but since I can’t travel, for now, this hopefully will help until then. When we can travel, it will be fun to share with you guys.
Being a blogger and doing crafty projects takes a lot of time and for consistency, it’s difficult to do both. So, I will do a variety of posts and different content for you guys and I hope you will like it. Started with what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger
Sharing what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger doesn’t mean I’ve become the best blogger. But from where I was to where I am now. I’ve gotten so better at it. Learned so much. And I have been blogging for a long time.
We all know that blogging is not just writing a blog post, and that’s it. I didn’t know it when I first started my blogging journey. But, a little later, I found out that I was missing a lot of important things. And It would be great to share it here and allow others to avoid these mistakes.
It’s not only my mistakes that I will share with you guys. But also different ways to do blogging stuff that will help you to have a better experience. Maybe ways to grow your blog and get more traffic. So much to cover and I will be happy to share it with you guys.
What do you mean by a better blogger?
Well, being a better blogger means you do things differently and in the right way. Also, when you avoid mistakes before it happens, that means you have changed for the better and you will have a successful future as a blogger.
What 3 things I learned to become a better blogger can also help you in some way to achieve that. However, it’s not all that you need. Depends on what content you blog about and how you do stuff. Things might change for you and maybe need more than these, 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
I can’t mention all of them. It’s a lot of things and this will post will be about the main things that helped me to get better. It took me a while to learn this and share this. Hopefully, it will help you to learn it sooner than I did haha.
For sure, other things are important and necessary to be a good blogger. However, I’m only sharing things that I experienced myself and helped me in a way improved my writing and thinking.
If I would name a category for this post “what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger”, it would be blogging tips, and that means, I’m going to talk more about blogging and share some good suggestions and ideas that will help you. So if you like this kind of content, please subscribe to the blog and hit the like button below.
So it will be is the second topic I’m going to be posting about in the future alongside the DIY crafts. I’m excited to be part of the people who share blogging tips and help bloggers. It will be original content and things I genuinely learn. Not something I read on the internet because what’s the point of doing that, you know haha.
Anyway, let’s get started and tell you guys what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
1-The prospective
I’m sure you already know that there is more than just writing or sharing a blog post, as I said earlier. But the way how you see it, it helps you to know what you need and more things that weren’t clear to you. Your point of view and perspective on things.
For me, I knew that I should do more than just write. But, in my mind, I just write words and share them with the world. Later, I changed my perspective. I started looking at it as it’s not writing words. It’s a way to communicate with the world. A way to speak with the audience, you know.

How to get more ideas for a blog post
From that point, I have been getting better and better, and the way I write posts has changed. It’s different when you see it as a just place where you write and a way to communicate. At least for me, you know.
Some people would start blogging while their minds that blogging is only a way to make money. And that’s not bad, but not what you need to be a successful blogger. Everyone who started with that perspective stopped midway haha.
When you ask yourself why you are a blogger. And understand more about why you started this. It will be a good step on following this. And it’s what I did that made me mention to you this which part of what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
You have to have the right perspective of blogging and see it from a better point of view. And that is one of the main things that helped me to improve my writing and many things on my blogging journey. I was reading through my old posts and found I have a lot of mistakes. Then, I went back and updated all the old posts on the blog. And still, I’m going to keep it going and update more and more as I learn more.
Having the perspective will help you to aim toward the right way for a better and more successful future. For example, when you see blogging as just a way to make money, you won’t bother to get better at writing or better at sharing good content.
2-The little things
I don’t know about you guys, but I wasn’t paying attention to the little things. And that was a long time ago, which was not the best thing to do as a small blogger. And for that, I decided to mention on the list 3 things I learned to become a better blogger.
Sometimes, if I see a blog thread on social media, that has only a couple of people. I would say that’s not worth it, which is not good. Especially when you are just growing. Everything counts and we should pay attention to the little things at first, you know.
Thinking about it now when I said that before, it seems like I don’t need and I’m already so big haha. That’s not the right thing to do. No matter how big or small, if you find a place to promote your content, just do it.
You can have little things on a lot of things throughout your journey and when were are small bloggers, we tend to avoid it but it might be a good chance for you to move a step forward. Whether on traffic, knowledge, or whatever it is.

This also matters when you have few followers or people reading your content. And you don’t pay attention as much because you don’t have a lot. I mean, I didn’t do that and I would care about my readers no matter the numbers. But I wasn’t doing well enough, you know.
We should appreciate and do our best, even if it’s for two or one. Because that’s how big numbers come. The two would share your content and get more traffic. The least you could do is to keep the two following as you keep growing.
It does matter guys and everything starts from nothing. So I highly recommend doing your best whether there are a couple of people only reading your content or a lot of people. As you do your best, maybe someone not following you notice your content and then would follow you.
Sharing your content no matter how many people, whether in your social media profile or threads on social media. Don’t let that stop you from promoting your content, because every little help counts toward the bigger goal.
What 3 things I learned to become a better blogger can also help you to grow your blog and not just you. And you need to keep doing them even when you get big. Some people would change their focus when they get a little bigger and that’s not good. Small things always can be a good way to grow even if it’s a little more.
3- Ogniazing
This one, I’m sure there are a lot of people already doing this. But for the people who are still stuck deciding on doing this or not. I’m here to tell you that you have to start doing it. It’s very, very important to stay organized.
In case you don’t know what I’m talking about. Well, organizing everything as a blogger can include a lot of things on their blogging journey. And it lasts for as long as you are a blogger. This means we should keep doing this forever haha.
And I mean organize everything as planning posts, writing post ideas in a notebook or a journal. Having a schedule and many things. You won’t have to worry about a thing being organized. And on top of that, It does help a lot with consistency as well.
If you are new to blogging, there is a high chance you keep blogging unorganized. But it’s time for you to change. Here on what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger, are things that I did when I started blogging too, but it wasn’t the right thing to do. So, I had to change and fix things if I’m looking to be a more successful blogger.
At first, I was hesitant myself about doing it. And I thought, it’s not necessary, but the real fact is that really important to write down post ideas and organize, set a schedule for you. And set goals. Without these all, things would be a mess later as you keep blogging.
Conclusion of what 3 things I learned to become a better blogger
Here we are, reached the end and this is it for this post. I hope you guys found this post useful. The first post on the new topic that I’m going to share more on this blog.

This is such a helpful post! My advice is one you’ve covered but I can’t overstate the importance of organization. That and don’t let blogging take all of your time and energy. Well done!
True, I agree with you. Self-care is very important as well.
Great post! The organization is one of the most important things you can do as a blogger. The perspective will change, when you grow, so it doesn’t matter how many readers you have because they will only grow. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, true. Thank you for reading!
It sounds like you’ve learnt some great things. Blogging is definitely a learning curve and even now, after 10 years, I’m still learning new things.
Yeah, we still going to learn new things every day!
I agree, that there are so many small considerations I was oblivious to when I first decided to start blogging. At times, it’s almost impossible to keep up with them all, but the more you learn, the better you keep getting!
Organizing is by far the most important for me! I thrive on order and organization in all aspects of my life, but especially in my blog.
Knowing a little bit of what happens in the backend helps a lot. Especially if something’s not working and nobody is available to help sort it out.
I agree that the little things are so important. Keeping everything high quality, from the blog itself to related social media accounts is critical, regardless of the size of your following.
Right? little things really matter. True, good quality is a good one.
Some very important things that you’ve learned! Organization is key! There’s so much to do as a blogger so it’s great to be organized! x
Thank you! It’s one of the most important things.
I’ve recently started blogging and yes I fully agree with you, it is the little things that make a huge difference, can’t agree more.

Thank you! yeah, sometimes we tend to skip on the little things.
You learned a lot! These are so helpful
Thank you! Yeah, but it doesn’t seem that much haha. More things to learn.
Sounds like you’ve learnt some great lessons! Blogging is definitely a thing you can build on with knowledge every day xx
Yeah, and still going to learn a lot. Thank you for reading!
Really nice lessons. For me it’s reminding myself that little things matter especially when I want to get carried away by the metrics.
Yeah, the little things do help a lot.
Great post and you are definitely correct when you said organization is important! That’s key to good writing! Thanks for sharing your tips!
Thank you very much! True, we need to be organized.
I really enjoyed this post, as I have many similar thoughts on what it takes to be a better blogger. Organization is what I most struggle with. Thank you for sharing this ❤️
Thank you for reading! It’s unfortunate but you got this!
I find organisation and being prepared with your planning is the best tool to help you successful grow a blog. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I agree, it’s a great combination. Thank you for reading!
What a great list of things that you have learned.
We learn as we grow. Thank you for reading!
This is a very helpful post. I’ve been thinking of starting my own blog but I don’t have the motivation and enough knowledge yet. Thanks for this.
Thank you! It’s you got it! You can get motivation!
I remember the first days I started blogging, I didn’t know about a lot of things either 😂 but yes we continually grow and be more involved in these things. Thanks for sharing! x
Right? haha, we learn as we grow. Thank you for reading!
Organisation is key, as is thinking about what your audience might like to read, or what questions people are asking around a certain topic. I wish I’d known abut SEO when I started though!
I agree with you, Lisa. I wish the same but it’s unfortunate.
Great post and reminder about the little things that we bloggers tend to overlook or ignore!
I needed that!
TomekoYo the Blogger!
Thank you! Yeah, everything matters!
organizing yourself as well as seeing and appreciating little things are my main focuses when blogging. it changes your perspective and does you a better blogger indeed
True, that’s spot on haha. Thank you for the comment!
Great post! I totally agree about staying organized, for me, it keeps me from getting overwhelmed with all the different blog related tasks I need to do.
Right? it helps a lot to keep things sorted.
I think one of the biggest things for me was staying organized and planning ahead so you hit that one right on the head.
Yeah, that’s great things to accomplish.
Being organized is a big one and it can be a struggle but for me, having a blog has definitely helped me be a more organized person. I always appreciate the small things, they mean so much to me. Great post!
That’s awesome, little things always matter. Thank you for reading!
These are really good tips! I think the little things are always the best thing!
Yeah, sometimes we skip on the little things or lose motivation but it’s the start of the big things.
Thank you! I didn’t pay much attention to SEO until recently but if I started all over, I would pay attention to it from the beginning.
True, if we get another chance to start over, it would be a different start. Thank you for reading!
It’s a very good idea to have chosen to post on blogging in addition to the DIY ones. A lot of people are interested in blogging and it will certainly help them. For me, one piece of advice I’ll give to bloggers is consistency. You have to choose the pace you want to publish at and maintain it. Readers will know when to expect new content. It can be daily, once a week, once every two weeks, etc.
Corinne
True, that’s why I decided to add this. I would like to help bloggers in the community.
Such a great helpful article for the bloggers! I have been blogging since 2015 and yet it seems like I don’t know a lot of stuff! I like that adding Like button option, will try to do the same with my blog too 😉
Yeah, we learn new things every day. Thank you for reading!
I agree that the little things do count. They might be small, but they are also important. Anywhere on the web: your own Facebook page, social media, or other social media. Just sending one tweet per day is so important as sending many in one day.
Right? it does matter and the reason for big numbers.
Some key points here! I definitely believe being organised keeps me sane because working full time, doing blogging and running a small business is hard 😂 that and ensuring that I spend time switching off too.
True, it’s really nice to stay organized.
The little things do matter. When I first began blogging I was initially discouraged because I was putting so much time and effort into creating posts for only a few readers. Then overnight my list of readers drastically grew. The one thing that I did not do it give up.
xo Erica
True, same here. But after a few weeks of blogging, I started appreciating the little things as well.
I too had to learn these simple things. Blogging can be overwhelming that’s why we need organization skills
